Wurm running?
OK, I've got a question. My TYRIAN level 7 necromancer is in Sunspear Sanctuary at the moment. I'm sure it's possible to get a group of henchmen and go out to Turai's Procession and just flag them until I get the the outpost, Gates of Desolation (GoD).
Once I am at GoD, is it possible to get a player that can already be a wurm (so basically that person beat the GoD mission), have him/her turn into a wurm and run me to Remains of Saljahla, then run to Bone Palace?
The only reason I want this run (No, I'm not a cheater) is because I want the 10K armor found at Bone Palace.

Do you mean die, then flag the henchies in?
That won't work, they reset every time you try to zone them.

No, I'll try to live
What I mean is, about 1/2 the agro circle before a mob, I'll flag the henchmen towards the mob, and that should leave me out of danger. Once I do this to every mob, when arriving at GoD I should be alive. Basically, I meant flagging the henchmen INTO the mob while hanging back and watching them fight.

nope, you all have to be able to enter a wurm before anyone can get into one and if someone in your party hasn't learned to tame a wurm no one can get into one which means no crossing the desolation.. unfortunately.

Someone posted a way to in a previous thread, I've used it with friends to get my characters to vabbi without the grind but I have no idea if it's been fixed since then.

There is one way to get there, you need a player that can ride a wurm, the player that hasnt access to the wurm must sack themselfs i.e. get killed. Then the player that can ride the wurm has free ability to ride the wurm and can take a player to the location desired. But other than that its a waste if you only want the armour, missions in the area would not be accessable to you untill you follow the games progress.
Hope this is the info which you are looking for

Also, if you hitch a ride with a player who already has a wurm using the method Fusic outlined, the Bone Palace will be closed to you (the gate will be barred). However, if you're hitching a ride with a person that's doing the primary quest that leads to the Bone Palace (A Deal's a Deal, I think it's called), doing that will get both of you in.

Actually through sheer wall-hugging when I was progressing through the game, I managed to make my way into the Remains of Sahlajha before completing the Gates of Desolation mission (see attached). A speed boost is all you really need, just make sure you come from the north (you might have to detour... a lot from Vabbi) because I don't think it would be possible to avoid the mobs in The Sulfurous Wastes using the same method.
Basically you have to stand on the rocky part, and not the yellow areas on your map. Sand = death, rock = live. Simple as that.
However, as it has been said you would need the primary quest in order to get in through the closed doors.

So basically from sanctuary, what do i need to do for a bone palace run? Should I do the missions to GoD? And than find someone who can ride a wurm and can get me to Remains of Sahlajha. Than find someone that can ride a wurm and has "a deal's a deal" quest and voala?

WHAT!! Anyways, congrats, Limewax.
Now I can save up to 20K by NOT getting 15K sunspear and instead getting 10K ancient.
Thanks guys!
OK, to get this straight this is what you do:
- "Get" to GoD.
- Hitch a ride with someone who can be a wurm, and then die and let him run to RoS.
- Once at RoS, hitch a ride with a player that HAS the primary quest to go to Bone Palace. Die and let him do the quest.
